Training Harder Than Ever!
Hi everyone ---
I just wanted to thank everyone who has been supporting me through and through. I get emails everyday wishing me luck and giving me a ton of support. It's always nice to receive letters like that because it gives me strength to train harder and harder. I fight for me, but I also fight for my family and my fans. I am ecstatic that I have so many people supporting me and I just want to go out there and do one of the things I am best at - and that's fighting.
This is a huge fight for me in terms of exposure. I have been waiting my whole career for a chance like this. The bigger picture is getting women's boxing mainstream exposure. People need to know that there are many, many talented female athletes out there that will never get an opportunity like this. With this fight, I really hope to help change that. I am a big advocate for women in MMA and boxing and I hope we will see a change in the tide in the next few years. Most men will never get to fight on a boxing card like this - let alone women. It's so exciting and I am honored to be a part of it!
All of my time, as of right now, is dedicated to training, so I am not writing on here as much as I like. Just know that I AM here and I am training harder than ever. I am doing it for all of you guys. So thank you again for the support. My site has been getting hundreds of hits a day and we are working towards making it even better! So that's it for now. I just wanted to check in w/ everyone and let you know I was still here. Thanks again and talk soon!!
